- Backup data is encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption before transmission and remains encrypted and compressed at DCS Backup's geographically separate and redundant data centers until restored to client servers.
- Stored information can only be retrieved by authorized personnel using a user-defined encryption passcode. (Not even DCS Backup has a copy).
- Fully automated backups are scheduled by the user, maintained in a logical sequence, verified daily with email notifications provided to assure every backup has completed successfully.
- Data can be stored on DCS Backup's secure servers indefinitely. Retention periods are configured by the user during initial set up. Backups are automatically stored for that defined period and can be deleted automatically after the period stated in the Act (generally, five years) is reached.
- Data is stored offsite in redundant, separate, high security class-A data Network Operation Centers. Data is available 24/7 and restorable instantly to any location.
